Sultana Cake

  • Cooking Time: 2 hours 20 minutes /1 hour 5 minutes
  • Oven Temperature: gas 3 - middle
  • Makes: 1 round tin / 2 loaf tins

Ingredients

  • 8 oz margarine
  • 8 oz caster sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 8 oz plain flour
  • 1 oz self-raising flour
  • 12 oz sultanas

Instructions

  1. Cream butter and sugar.
  2. Add eggs.
  3. Sift flour.
  4. Add sultanas.
  5. Put in double-lined (greaseproof and brown paper) cake tin.
  6. After baked, leave in tin for ½ hour to cool.
